The Teriyaki Sauce
I use one home-made recipe for teriyaki sauce for all my Asian-inspired recipes and this beef recipe is no exception! It’s super easy to make and I know exactly what’s in. It’s also really easy to adjust the amount of sugar and other flavors. It’s made with just a few simple ingredients: soy sauce, sesame seed oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic and ginger. I like to use pre-minced garlic and ginger puree to save time! Find the puree ginger in a tube in the refrigerated section of your grocery store.
Preparing the Skewers
The home-made teriyaki sauce is also the marinade in this recipe. Once the meat is done marinating, just pour the sauce into a saucepan and cook for a few minutes. I like to brush the sauce onto the beef while it’s grilling AND serve some extra on the side! You guys will love this simple and easy recipe! If you’re planning to make this recipe for a get-together, plan to make a double batch because these beef skewers will go quickly! Garnish the teriyaki beef skewers with sesame seeds and chopped green onion for a bit of color.

These Teriyaki Beef Skewers look amazing! I live in the Northeast and our weather is freezing right now. 🙁 Do you think I could bake this and for how long?
Absolutely! I recommend preheating your oven to 425F and place the skewers ends onto the ledge of a small pan, so that the skewers are suspended. Then bake for about 10 to 15 minutes one side, turn them over and 10 minutes the other side.
