You can never, ever go wrong with adding Nutella to dessert and these Nutella crepes are proof of that! This sweet breakfast recipe is perfect for weekend breakfast or brunch and so easy to put together! I first tried a version of these at a local crepe restaurant and absolutely had to share the recipe on my blog and channel!
First, make the delicate crepes. The crepe batter itself isn’t too sweet, which is great because the Nutella adds all the sweetness this dish needs! Since these crepes are delicate and fragile and Nutella tends to be quite thick, I like to transfer the spread into a pastry bag and drizzle it over the crepes instead of spreading it. This little trick works like magic! Plus, you can drizzle some extra nutella over the top!
For the toppings, I love to add a combination of berries, sliced almonds, cheese and of course, some maple syrup. I love using blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. Feel free to top these crepes with even more of your favorite fresh fruit, such as banana, mango or blackberry! The goat cheese is also a must! It’s really creamy and just a bit salty, which helps to balance out the sweetness of the dish. You can also use ricotta cheese if you don’t like goat cheese. I want to devour a whole plate of these Nutella crepes right now!
