The number-one requested dish in our house – steak! My husband loves a good steak more than anything else! I like to switch up the recipes a bit and this steak salad with blue cheese dressing has been a hit, too! Why not skip the steakhouse and make this delicious steak salad right at home?! This eye-catching meal takes under 30 minutes to assemble, which means less work for you!
For this salad, I use juicy and flavorful rib-eye steak, seasoned and seared to perfection. I recommend cooking the beef to a medium, or medium-rare. If you like your steak cooked further, I recommend switching out the rib and using a tenderloin cut instead, for a more tender meat. Once that steak is ready and rested, slice it up and arrange it over a bed of spring greens and diced green apples. The green apple adds a refreshing twist to the salad. It’s all drizzled with some delicious home-made blue cheese dressing. I also like to add some sliced avocado, sliced shallots, and even sliced mini cucumbers to the salad. The creamy avocado is such a great addition to the salad!
