How to Make the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Here’s how I make these amazing cookies! They’re super easy to make!
- First, preheat the oven to 350F. I usually prepare two large baking sheets with parchment paper. You can also use silicone mats.
- Place the butter into mixer bowl and whisk on high speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add the eggs, sugars, vanilla and salt. Whisk again for a few minutes, until well combined.
- Sift together the flour and baking powder and gradually add into batter. Fold in cookie toppings with a spatula until the cookie batter is uniform throughout.
- Place large or small scoops of cookie dough, spaced 2 inches apart on baking sheets. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven until edges start turning golden brown, between 12 and 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool slightly on baking sheet before removing them with a spatula onto a cooling rack to cool completely.
- Store the chocolate chip cookies in air-tight container to preserve freshness and texture.

Hello there. Whats toffee bits
why is your measurement for the sugar and brown sugar different for the recipe? The recipe says 3/4 but said 1/2 it’s confusing.
Hi Cynthia! I’m not seeing the 1/2 cup listed in my recipe, sorry for any confusion. You’ll need 3/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup white sugar. Enjoy!
