Ingredients for Peach Burrata Salad
Here are my tips for the main ingredients you’ll need to make my burrata peach salad. Find the full list of ingredients in the printable recipe card below.
- Peaches – fresh, juicy and sweet peaches work best for this recipe. You can use canned peaches in the off-season.
- Avocado – pairs perfectly with peaches and adds tons of creamy texture.
- Burrata Cheese – this creamy mozzarella cheese is my favorite! Regular mozzarella, goat cheese, or feta will work, too.
- Prosciutto – this salty cured pork pairs so well with burrata and peaches!
- Fresh Basil – a must for this salad. It adds so much great flavor!
- Arugula – spinach, arugula, baby kale, or spring greens will all work great.
- Lemon Juice & Zest – for making the salad dressing.
- Olive Oil – use a good quality olive oil for making the dressing.
- Pistachios – almonds will also taste delicious in this salad.

Preparing for the Salad
Let’s start by preparing the ingredients we’ll need to make this delicious burrata peach salad!
Start by slicing the peach. Cut it in half first, then cut it into wedges or thin slices. Do the same for the avocado, then thinly slice the shallot.
How to Make Burrata Peach Salad
Here’s how to put it all together!
- Spread the arugula onto a large serving platter or drop it into a large salad bowl.
- Sprinkle the sliced shallot over the arugula, then evenly distribute the sliced peaches and avocado. Sprinkle the pistachios over the top.
- Tear the prosciutto slices into smaller pieces and drop those over the salad. Pull apart the burrata cheese into smaller chunks and add to the salad.
- Stack and roll the basil leaves, then gently chop them. Sprinkle the fresh basil over the salad.
Easy Vinaigrette Dressing
Once you have the salad ready, it’s time to prepare my easy homemade vinaigrette. I use this dressing for a lot of my salads!
- Zest the lemon first into a large measuring cup. Slice it in half and squeeze out the lemon juice.
- Add the olive oil, maple syrup, mustard, salt, pepper, and thyme next. Season to taste.
- Press or grate the garlic using a microplaner and add to the dressing. Whisk all the ingredients together.
Serving & Pairing Suggestions
When you’re ready to serve, whisk the salad dressing one more time, then pour over the salad. Use two large salad spoons to toss everything together.
Enjoy the salad immediately. If you need to make it ahead of time, just keep the dressing on the side.

This is a sensational salad. The combination of flavors from the slightly bitter arugula, the sweet peach and salty proscuitto is wonderful. I happened to have fresh basil and thyme from the garden. I served it as an entree salad with garlic bread and it was a wonderful summer dinner.
Hi Carol. That’s so wonderful to hear! I’m so happy you loved the salad! The garlic bread on the side sounds amazing, too! It’s been a favorite of mine this summer, been having it on repeat! Thank you for taking the time to leave a revew.
