The most delicious barbecue rib recipe! These slow-cooker ribs are so flavorful, fall-off-the-bone tender and simply melt in your mouth! The pork ribs are seasoned with a dry spice rub, then slow-cooked for 4 hours, grilled and coated with sweet and smoky sauce. My easy, slow cooker recipe is bound to become a family favorite! Plus, serve them with my grilled corn recipe!
Making Slow-Cooker Ribs
The secret to great ribs is a cooking them low and slow until the meat is tender! I like to use a slow cooker to cook the ribs without having to worry about them. First, prepare the spice blend: salt, pepper, brown sugar, chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin and garlic powder. Portion the ribs and using your hands, rub the spice blend generously into the meat. You want the ribs completely coated. Cook on the high heat setting for about 4 hours, or until the pork meat is extra tender!
Next, it’s time to head to the grill to get that smoky flavor that everyone loves about barbecue ribs! Gently transfer the cooked ribs onto a preheated grill and slather in barbecue sauce. Grill for 4 to 5 minutes per side. If you have a smoker, this is the perfect time to use it! Set your smoker to 165F and let the ribs smoke for about 30 to 45 minutes.
The Grilled Corn
To go along with these amazing barbecue pork ribs, I love to make my grilled corn seasoned with loads of butter, garlic, herbs, cilantro and a touch of lime! You’ll love the combination of flavors! First, cook the corn in boiling water for 10 minutes, then season and grill along with the pork ribs. These is my favorite way to enjoy corn on the cob! Try adding a touch of lime juice, cilantro and queso fresco cheese over the top for more flavor!
