One of my favorite childhood desserts – this no-bake strawberries and cream cake! It’s a very tasty and delightful summer-time dessert when you don’t want to turn on your oven! This impressive no-bake, 8-layer cake is made with honey graham crackers, a cheesecake filling and strawberry puree! This cake is very versatile – serve it for a children’s party or a fancy dinner, no one will know you didn’t need to bake it!
My mother always used to make this cake for us; she still makes to this day but not as often. She was always so busy running around and taking care of us kids, she didn’t have a lot of time to bake. This no-bake cake was the answer! Just grab a box of graham crackers and create the simple cheesecake-style filling. My mom used to make this cake plain without the strawberry. I love the addition of the berries, they add incredible flavor to an already delicious classic!
For my video recipe, I assembled this cake freestanding on a tray but it’s even easier if you assemble it in a casserole dish. Just let the cake set overnight to allow the crackers to become soft and the cream to bring everything together. Garnish the top with fresh strawberries for the finishing touch! This no-bake strawberries and cream cake is bound to become a family-favorite!
